A monster representing the T-Shirt industry.

A huge beast that's been around forever; it carries money that will be spent on producing shirts with love (hence the factory chimneys that grow from the $ sign). On the sides of the operation, wings made of ink and art materials, which give flight to the imagination. The beast has two heads that represent Screen Printing and Heat Transfers.

The Designer

The Monstee design was the creation of forum member, 3Leches (Rangy). Rangy is a professional graphic design artist for the advertising industry. You can see some of her original designs on in her deviant art gallery located at chupatoster.deviantart.com. She had this to say about the inspiration behind this design:

"I wanted to make something that ANYBODY would want to wear, not just people from the forum. Plus, something that would look fashionable and not like a souvenir/promotion. So I decided to make something 100% visual and universal."

The Printing

This t-shirt design is professionally screen printed by one of our preferred vendors, Raw Talent Inc. Raw Talent Inc specializes in high end screen printing and t-shirt decoration for fashion brands. They offer water based ink screen printing, discharge screen printing, flock printing, foil printing, embroidery, gel printing, high density, rhinestones and more!

On this design they used a discharge screen printing to achieve a super soft hand to the finished design.

The Garment

Rangy envisioned this design going on a "nice comfy shirt", so we picked a nice ringspun cotton t-shirt from Pacific Sports. It is a Jersey knit, 30/1 singles, combed ringspun cotton t-shirt with a super soft silicone washed finish. This t-shirt makes a great first impression and stays soft wash after wash!

From the manufacturer about the men's epacificsports t-shirts: "All our ESW t-shirts are fabric washed before sewing production to prevent torque and shrinkage of garment. These washed goods are then silicon washed. After sewing, garments receive two different treatments: before and after dyeing process for the ultimate softness of the product. PM30ESW is mainly targeted for high-end customers and it weighs 4.6 oz. Even though PM30ESW weighs less than PM30V and PM30, by reducing the weight we were able to come up with virtually free of shrinkage and torque which plays as an important role for t-shirts buyers."

About the ladies style shirts:
The ladies style will be printed on a classic, relaxed fit, Hanes Silver for Her Jersey knit t-shirt (Style SL04) in graphite color. This is a  4.8 ounce 100% combed, ringspun cotton t-shirt that is sure to look and feel great. Lightweight jersey fabric for outstanding drape and comfort. Set-in rib collar with double-needle coverstitching along neck. Contoured and side seamed for feminine classic fit.
