Default LIve Trace Settings

I have got Illustrator CS3.
Created a kitesurfing image to put on a t-shirt in Photoshop CS3 so v course pixels.

I have uploaded it a couple of times as an esp after using live trace.
Then after a day or so I always receive the same message your design is to detailed ....

Looked it up on the site what the min sizes have to be, then changing the settings in live trace(Custom trace) and tried again. Again same response.

I guess basically what they are saying is "to much detail" so i would like to know the setting of the custom trace in illustrator for spreadshirt flexprint.

PS i have mail them but i got a response saying they couldn't understand English very well ...

No no it does trace it i works very well i get a perfect vertor image.
A lot of details is removed but that ok i knew that would happen.

its just when I trace with live trace (trace options) to remove even more details it still not enough for spreadshirt.

I know i'm not very good at explaining

You have to make sure you have no lines or objects smaller than .06 inches in width.

Where are you located? Are you using the U.S. location or Europe?

0.06 inch ahaaa Nice nope i did not.

I'm from the netherlands but currently in belgium.
I don't know where the main EU spreadshirt factory is located guessing Germany it that was your question

Is there an easy way of doing this of do i have to make a gauge and check all the parts ?

Hear is what Spreadshirt suggests: t is helpful to draw a small circle or square with dimensions of .06 in. x .06 in. and drag it over the thinnest elements of the design. If design element is larger than the .06 inch shape, then the design will be able to be printed. If the design element is smaller than the .06 inch shape, then the design will not be able to be printed.
