I'm trying out a Spreadshirt store to see how it compares to CafePress. The difficulty I'm having is that Spreadshirt is displaying the transparent background. I notice that some other designs do have this issue, and some others dont. Should I be using a vector graphic for these? I see that it may take up to a week before a vector design is approved and didn't want to wait. An example of the designs I would be using is the first two rows of shirts at the website in my signature(I see that we can only have them in our sigs)

Yes, if you want to use the dark garments at spreadshirt, you would need to upload vector images and wait for the approval process.
