Default Designer shop commissions when using own designs?

I read the FAQs at Spreadshirt but am still confused regarding commissions for designer shops. If I set up a designer shop using my own designs and a user designs a shirt with my design, do I get 20% commission, a design commission, or both?

You will get both commissions. The standard shop pays you design commission (for your own designs only) + product commission, while the designer shop pays you the design commission (for your own designs only) + 20% of the final product price.

The base prices in the designer shops are marked up, so bear that in mind when you set up the design commissions for your own designs.

Also, if you use designs from the marketplace for your designer shop, it will be tough to keep the end prices for your shop consistent by product. Each design may have different design commission set by their respective owner.

Cheers

When you are designing the shirt, you will see a text box with 0.00 in it. It will be labeled "commission".
Add the amount of money you want to make per sale, and it will add it to the base price of your product.

When uploading your design, you can also add commission on it as well. This will be added to the price of the product also.

So in total, the price will be a total of:
Spreadshirt Base Price + Your set commission + Your set design commission

You don't have to add commission to your designs unless you plan on selling them for others to use in their shops.

EDIT: doodlefashion, your signature link is broken
