I've had my shop online for almost 2 months. So far, I average about 80 visitors a day. One third of those visitors are from my Google advertising but Spreadshirt is not showing any sales under my 'statistics'. Is it unreasonable to think that I should have made at least a few sales from my targeted traffic? I am very new to this business and realize that I should not expect too much but I want to know if my situation is normal or could there be a problem with my Spreadshirt account not crediting me commissions owed.
Most studies show about a 1% conversion rate, so you should be selling to 5 users a week.
Are you sure that it's 80 unique visitors, not just your Mum or 80 pageloads?
Have you excluded your own visits?
Try Statcounter from sunny Dublin, much better than the Google stats.
I think in a way, asking this question is alot like going fishing and saying, shouldn't I have caught a fish by now? Alot of each person's success will depend on technique.
I visited your site. I saw alot of words at first. I saw alot of words for my first 5 clicks, while all I wanted to see was your shirts. That could be a problem. If someone has to really dig to find your goods, they may be giving up before finding your tees and moving on to the next site.
Is SS not giving you your commissions? I have no idea, I don't use Spreadshirt, so maybe someone who does will have some good ways for you to verify that information, to be sure everything is set up correctly and running smoothly.
But if you think you would like your site reviewed, instead of persuing the question of commissions, I'd recommend a post in site review, to see if folks can possibly give you helpful suggestions to improve the "shop-a-bility" of your site. Kind of like increasing your chances of catching a fish by using a better bait/lure.
It could be a combination of many things, including the shirts being buried a little on the site, the economy, etc. Good luck to you in the future, I hope things pick up.

+1...couldn't agree more. If your business is to sell shirts/apparel, then at least put some of them on your home page. And I, too, would suggest you request a review in the "site review" area.
I have shops on Zazzle and Cafepress, each one does anywhere from $500-850 a month! I've taken my top selling designs and put them on Spreadshirt and NOTHING has sold. It's been 6 monthes. I don't think enough people know about the site.
I have godd stuff and it sells well, but for some reason it's not moving on Spreadshirt so I took mine down after 6 mo. There is another site I also have a store thru called RedBubble, it's out of Austrailia and I do pretty good from that one too. I'd say try ANY of those 3, esp Cafepress, that's my biggest money maker. Hope that helps. Steve

Thanks for including the traffic sources, that does help to determine if you should have made a sale by now. Where do the other 2/3rds of the traffic come from?
I would say, if everything was as it should and with targeted traffic from Google, it does seem like there should have been a sale by now.
There's probably a 0% chance that Spreadshirt is not crediting your commissions. It's all automated, and they are a large, trustworthy company that has more to lose than the few dollars it would make by pocketing commissions. They only make money when you make money.
To me that says that there is something else going on that's causing the lack of sales. Could be marketing is off, could be designs are off, could be website is off, could be a combination of that and other things. But something does seem off.
Under your site login at Spreadshirt go to Statistics>Shops to find out if you have had any sales or not thought if it's all set up correctly Spreadshirt should email you if you have. I agree with the other posters that it's important to get to the 'shop' part of your site as quick and easy as possible; the more clicks someone has to do to shop, the more likely they will give up and go elsewhere. It's good to have at least examples of the t-shirts on the home page so that people know what they are getting straight away.
To all of you, Thanks for the very helful input. I am so new to all of this that I need to have people point things out to me that seem obvious to others. I agree...potential customers should not have to dig to get to my products! I wanted to give people information that the Spreadshirt layout does not give them but I should get over what I feel is lacking with Spreadshirt or change to one of the other printers. Because of your feedback I now know that by making important changes I may begin to make some sales. I feel better already. I'll continue make changes and request reviews until I have found some positive results. Thanks so much again!
As some of the others have stated, your landing page is to wordy. Customers have very short attention spans, if they dont see something that catches their eye in 1-2 clicks they are off somewhere else. Also I notice you are still currently a standard member, its very likely that your customers may be bypassing you and going straight to spreadshirt, where they could end up buying from any of the other thousands of designers in the marketplace.

Yes, I now understand this, as I posted previously. I'm curious to know why you think I am a standard member? I have a SS Premiun account!
