Hi...

I thought i read that one could in there FAQ's, but now i cant find where i read it...

If someone knows the answer to this question definitively and not presumptively i would appreciate it ...

No, I have not heard of that, unless it is something new.

They are known for testing the shirts they sell by wearing and washing the finished product before offering it to their sites. So my guess would be no.

Oh, yes, you are talking about bulk orders. Still not sure if you can send your own shirts. They print your design on them and then send them to you.

Looks like their minimum is 25.

This may not be the most economical way of getting 25-100 shirts printed. I would cost compare to local sources as well.

Nope, we don't print on your own shirts. We have to test every shirt we use, before printing on them. I have wondered if this would be interesting to people though... augmenting a current shirt. Any thoughts from the forum on this idea?

yeah right on' ... i was thinking that i would send u a case of american apparel 'jersey t shirts' and that would be used for my print on demand stuff ... worth a try i guess

But they already offer american apparel tees. And I'm sure they can get AA tees cheaper than you can get AA tees.

So just request a bulk quote using them. Then, compare that to quotes you get locally and go with the best deal.

I can get them for 6-7 dollars or less per shirt if I buy atleast 100

For instance:

Apparel Printing > T Shirts | Jakprints, Inc

i did some quick math (i hate math) lol, anyhow the percentage off bulk at SS was not comparable in price ..

Hi, Spinach Village,

What you are seeing as our base price includes initial labor in the shirt. We are not in the business of selling "blanks", so we don't price a base product as a blank, we price it "ready to print". This means you are comparing apples and oranges when you look at the wholesale price you get from AA and an "empty" shirt from us.

I, too, looked into SpreadShirt to print shirts for me but I want to use American Apparel for both men's and women's t-shirts. I did not see AA shirts for women....in particular the fine jersey tees.

Hi, misstee, we definitely have AA shirts for women. I'm wearing one now. Here's the link to the description: Custom T-shirts - Design custom shirts & hats : Spreadshirt
(the link is taking the title of the page, which isn't specific, but this link does go directly to the AA shirts)

It is listed under Women's -> Juniors, because it is a slim fit tee (as all AA are), and we've found that customers who are looking for "women's" are generally unsatisfied with the slim fit.
