Default SS shirt designer problem

So I'm planning to use spreadshirt to create all my shirts to order in Digital print; I'm having a couple problems with the designer program on the website. First of all, when I upload a design say.. 2100 x 3000 pixels, it only enlarges to 60% or so, and I want it to fill more of the shirt (It hasn't touched the edges of the print border yet). I've seen some samples cover almost the entire shirt and such in one print. How can this be done?

Edit: I've tried changing the size of the .png file to a bit smaller, it enlarges to 100% but the design still appears smaller than the 60% for some reason.

Secondly, the sizing of the graphic. Is the shirt displayed in the designer to scale? A s/m/l shirt are obviously different sizes, I need to scale the design accordingly, how can I do that accurately on the spreadshirt designer? Is what you see on the design true to what comes out in reality? (At least within reason?)

Lastly, where can I make the choice of Digital Direct print? The only option I have is Digital Transfer Overlay. Why is that?

Thanks for all your help!

I did that :/ Say if the design was a longer design, I would make it fill 3000 px vertically and then crop the rest.. usually leaving around 2200 px or so in terms of width. But I can only enlarge to around 94%.

So I hear that SS doesn't print shirts larger than 30 cm? (12 inches). I got that info from a representative. Then how come the design sizes are allowed to be over 30 cm? Is this fact true? Maybe I'm getting mixed up with the printing width and not the print length. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I can easily keep the width of my designs under 30 cm, but usually the length of my designs are around 32-40 cm.
