Thanks. I haven't yet... I just thought it was strange that I couldn't find out how to remove it. Other fulfillment sites don't have your personal info available, yet they do. To tell you the truth, if they don't allow removing it, I might have to switch services. Thanks again Rodney...
Think of it this way. If you have a customer that wants to contact you about buying your designs in bulk, or seeing them on a different product so they can make a purchase, they have a way of contacting you.
You can always signup for a free email service like gmail and use a PO BOX and use that information to be posted there.
Having your contact information on an ecommerce site is a *good* thing
You have a point... I really don't mind having my email available. I just figured that we, the shopkeepers, should have the option to have the say if it should be available or not, especially having something as personal as your home address. Even my business cards for my business don’t have my address because I operate from home... I really haven’t seen this with other services/sites. The way I read the Spreadshirt info, it looks like it is required…
I'd use a PO Box, but it would be an inconvenience. I’m not going to open up an account (mail box) for something like this. I'm doing this more for fun and see what happens than doing this for business/money.
To update... I did email them today and we'll see if it's possible. I have to renew/pay Spreadshirt in the next few days. Only did the one month plan to see if I’d like it. Hopefully they get back to me soon or I'm seriously looking elsewhere. And it’s too bad, I really like it…
Since I see that there are a few members visiting this thread, I feel an update is needed. I emailed them 2 days ago and got an email back yesterday. It turns out that since I agreed to their "Terms and Conditions", I have given them the right to provide my contact information. So, there's no way of removing them...

I guess I'm not renewing...
Well did they say removing it was against the terms and conditions... If not everything on there page is controlled by CSS if you give me a link to the page I can tell you if I can figure out how to remove it... I removed the entire bar that had the option to Contact us on it so I haven't really looked inside it.

Having a PO BOX or a business mailing address is a good idea even if you're doing it "for fun".
I'm guessing that by "see what happens", you mean that you'll see if you can make some sales. Like it would be nice to make some money out of it.
If that's the case, then go ahead and treat it like a business. If you have business cards, you might as well go one more step and get a "business address". If you decide to register a domain name for your business, you can also use the business address/PO BOX there.

No they didn't, but I would assume it is. Especailly since it is part of their Terms and Conditions. When you go to your account info, it states that if you remove your legal info, that your store won't be viewable by visitors. But, thanks for your help...

Hey Rodney... the business cards I was refering to is for my other business. I do graphic design work and I don't have my address on them. I've had my own business for years and unless they're sending me a 1099, they don't need it. If I was fulfilling the services myself, it would be a different story though...
As for the domain, I have them privately registered.
i agree it is annoying to have your real name and city on the Contact page.. anybody that googles your name and city will find you are the owner of the tshirt website.. i dont neccesarily want everybody knowing i run a particular website.
hmmm i too wouldn't want my contact info on there...who knows what kind of crazy lunatics would do with my personal info
anyway, i've seen spreadshirt stores that don't have the "contact" button.....why is that? did they cover it up?
Location: from detroit... now in lodi, jersey for a bit....pick me up
