Default General shop css question.

Hi,

I'm really new to CSS and had a question in terms of editing my shop layout.

I would like to remove the "shopinformation" table from my site, but just can't seem to do it.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

The code for this is:

<div id="shopInformation">
<h1>Shop Name</h1>

</div>

Thanks!

looks like you have found it, I assume that between the <div> and </div> is a lot of code that defines this "shopinformation" table you don't want. Note: save a copy of this chunk of code in notepad or word in case it doesn't give you the results you want. You can even put a comment where this code went, make it something like <!-- old shop information table went here--> (you need to be sure to put the exact starting and ending brackets exactly like I have them. ) Now you have a fail safe disaster recovery plan if you removed something you didn't want to. Now delete that section, save and see how it looks

It's like my dad trying to tell me how to pull an engine from a car. It's all greek to me. I don't use Spreadshirt, I was just giving you general coding principle guidelines. It is entirely possible that the Shop Information table is autogenerated and you don't control it. My technique will only work if you have full access to the pages of the website. For instance I run many CafePress shops and I can control certain parts of the code, but not all of it. Let's see if a spreadshirt expert has a better method for you to achieve your goal
