Need to Register?

Hi,

All the t-shirts on my site are "text-only" - and it seems that for this reason I am unable to use the "blog product" feature. So first off - what is the reason for not allowing text t-shirts to be blogged?

This leads me to my problem: to add my t-shirts to my Joomla site I have to create a new "article" for each t-shirt, then do all the HTML manually, which quite frankly, is a pain in the a$$. If I could use the "blog product" feature it would be so much simpler.

Can anyone suggest a way to get around this problem?

It's a shame there is a convenient solution, which I'm apparently not allowed to use.

Are you sure it's just that the "blog product" tool is not working correctly? I don't understand how it could possibly differentiate between a text only tee and a graphically designed one.

Yup. With text only t-shirts you're not allowed to add them to the Spreadshirt marketplace. I think they need to be in the Marketplace to use the blog tool. They can tell because you have to use the Spreadshirt tool to make them. If you have a picture design then the t-shirt will include a vector graphic.

Also, every t-shirt added gets verified.

Seems like design snobbery to me. There are a lot of very good text t-shirts out there.

Hi Major Grooves, Thanks for pointing this out. From which area of the Spreadshirt admin are you trying to use the "blog this" feature. I am trying to figure out if I get the error on my shop too.
