Default Index with Moire

I'm getting a moire pattern on my screens with an indexed separated print (the problem is just on one screen, black ink which is the most dominant in the artwork).

I don't see a moire pattern on the film. So I am trying to think of a solution, and all I can think of doing is halftoning the black indexed film (@ 55 LPI & 22.5 angle, on 305 mesh) instead of just printing it indexed. Will this help? Any other ways around this?

I don't have much experience printing index seps, but is the black screen giving a moire when printed alone? Is it moire created from the mesh of the shirt? Try printing directly on a piece of paper/flatstock. You can also try re-exposing the screen and rotating the film on the screen a few degrees.

One of the advantages of index separations is in avoiding moire. You probably just need to re-expose. Can you post a pic?

Try a different mesh count first, any repeating pattern can moire with the mesh.
