Question Return costumers and screens storage.

Just quick questions about costumers that re-order and screen storage.

Out of all your orders, how many costumers actually re-order the same shirt/design?

How long do you hold/store the screens?

With orders that are a one time thing (e.g events with a date), do you still save that screen(s)?

I would love to hear how you handle re-orders.

Thanks

We reclaim screens within a day or two of printing the job. I keep 1 screen with our logo that we print on shipping boxes, but we do not archive screens for customer orders. We don't have too many reordering the same design, and if they do it is several months down the road, so it is easier to reburn the screens.

If I think there is a chance of a reorder I will keep he screens for a week or 2 else they are cleaned and ready for the next job soon as possible.

We also just recycle screens - for the few minutes it takes to re-burn a screen it's not worth keeping them in dead storage. Just be sure to archive your films safely and you'll always be a few minutes from a new screen.

So... how often have had to re-burn screens?
Is it cost affective to reclaim and re-burn or store the screens?

if you know the customer its easier, you can get a feel for their needs. i would reclaim them the first time around, see how long until re-order, then next time i might hold them. but now that i use more discharge plascharge, i have to reclaim every time anyway.
