Default Screening signatures

Hello, I was asked to do some Senior Tshirts with hand written signatures.

I did some years ago but ended up having to retrace each signature. Took forever.

What is the best way to do this?

Send paper for the kids to sign and scan in, or send the positive and have each sign it.

I know it will have to be a fine tipped marker.Last time the Sharpie was not really dark enough.

Let me know your experiences on this.

Thanks, Steven Wheeler

The ones I have been asked to do the students will sign a sheet of paper and i will scan it into the computer then bring it into corel. Doing it with a positive may work but seems like extra work to me.
I actually will be doing the school mascot (Panthers) in bold font with the students name inside.

Have them sign with a sharpie then do an illustrator live trace with black and white.

Have the students sign with a sharpie and then scan it into Photoshop.

By far the best route. This is how I make all my signatures look sharp
