Default CMYK 305 & 200 Mesh

Just realized all of our 305 mesh count screens are being used. Need to print CMYK but have three 305 screens and the other highest screens I have are 200 count screens.

Has anyone tried CMYK with a mixture of mesh counts and how did it turn out? I might just have to drive an hour away to buy one from my vendor

I've done 45 lpi cmyk on 200 before. It can work, but you have way less control.

Do you think using 305's for CMK and 200 for Y would cause problems?

I would also be printing a white underbase because although they are white shirts, the shirts have ash grey stripes.

You'll have a heavier yellow cast at best. Way off colors at worst.

Yellow would be your best bet for the 200mesh, you will need to speed up your squeegee and reduce the pressure, you want to limit the deposit.
If you're not concerned about color accuracy on the final print then it should be ok.
