First of all, I hope this isn't against the rules.
Second of all, I have zero affiliation with Ryonet or silkscreeningsupplies.com
I ordered about $1000 worth of stuff from Ryonet the other day. Not a lot for some of you, but for those of us just starting out, that is a decent amount of money.
One of the containers of pigment I ordered was cracked, and they forgot some emulsion remover in my order. I figured that this would be a pain in the *** to replace and that I would have to just bite the bullet and pay for it again. I went on their web-page, on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and saw their "Live Customer Service" icon. It was understandably labeled "Offline" at the moment. So I clicked anyways and sent an email assuming I would hear from them on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Less than three minutes after I sent the email, I recieved one back apologizing for the error and promising a new one sent out first thing on tuesday. I was astonished.
Fast forward a few weeks. I am learning the ropes of printing waterbased and discharge. I was having an issue with the discharge I was using mixing strangely and ending up with chunks in it.
I was already in the shop and printing, so I figured that later that evening I would post on here and figure it out. Instead, I saw the number for Ryonet on the bucket of discharge and figured I would just call and see if something might be wrong with the discharge.
I initially spoke with a female who was extremely helpful and courteous, but admitted that she hadn't printed with discharge all that often. She said that another guy there would be able to help me better, but he was on the other line. So she took my number and promised a call back.
Within a half an hour, a gentleman called me and explained to me what he thought was happening and how I could remedy the situation. He also went into full detail on how he liked to print discharge and some other tricks he had learned in his shop.
In the days of calling customer service and talking to someone in India who barely speaks the language and very rarely is actually able to understand the problem, the support Ryonet offers is amazing. Especially to someone new to the game, who has some questions.
Again, don't work for them and hope I am not breaking any rules, but I thought they deserved recognition.
I couldnt agree more.....Ryonet is by far the best company I have ever dealt with ...there customer service is top notch....I ordered a quart of cci dual cure dxp emulsion...I received the emulsion in 3 days...I live in Florida..they are in Washington state....3 days is amazing.....long story short the emulsion was bad...i was getting excessive pinholes..so I called Ryonet and we talked about the problem for 10 minutes and the csr decided to send me a new quart to remedy the situation......I will never go to another supplier......I am a Ryonet customer for life.
I am a Ryonet customer as well, and I can say that I agree 100% with what has been said about them. I ordered their 'working mans 1/2 gallon kit' (1/2gal of white and 1/2gal of black) for $35 USD, along with some other supplies and my order qualified for free shipping, so of course that is the shipping option that I chose.
I figured that it would take over a week or more for the supplies to get to me, so I was very surprised when it arrived about four or five days later. Keep in mind though, that two of those days were the weekend! They have great deals (from what I can see on the Internet), and with me being a beginner their videos and FAQ is invaluable. More businesses need to look at how Ryonet treats their customers and start taking notes.
Hi I am from the Caribbean and also order form ryonet, Never had a problem and to make things even better they now offer free shipping with orders over $100.00. They really are awesome. Ryonet customer for life.
Has anyone of you ever taken any of their classes? I wanted to go for the 2 day screen printing class...but, wasn't sure if it was worth the money. Update me as soon as you can w/feedback if you've taken.
Really? About how long ago? I was thinking about going to the upcoming class in my area. Well, it's not exactly in my area...but, it's the closest 1 to me. I figure anywhere from 6 - 8 hrs in the car, hotel/meals, etc. for 3 - 4 days and the cost of the tuition. About what percentage of your business since the class is screen printing?
