Default shur-loc panels: TWO thumbs up!

I bought 4 shur-loc panels for newman roller frames at the Ft. Worth ISS show over the weekend.

I spent the time and "detailed" a frame, got all the ink and tape goo off of it, it's too pretty to print with now!!

After I figured out how the panels hold in the mesh strip channels, I cranked it up and was amazed how tight it went on the first try. In the past, using regular mesh fabric, I always managed to bust them before getting to what I'd consider tight. The panel tightened up with out any fuss and after a couple of hours I gave it a little more and seems to be right where I left it. I now want to get a tension meter to see exactly the tension, but i'd guess to be about 35 newtons, which feels at least twice as tight as static frames i just had restretched.

i highly recommend anyone using newmans to give these panels a try!

I have been praising these panels for a month or two, they are fool proof and are worth every penny to me. A wonderful product that doesn't require any experience or special tools or equipment to make a perfect screen.

I can get my bolt mesh up to 35 no problem now. I try to push them up to 40. It's pretty easy after you bust a few,
you get the hang of it. I know the panels are good though.

I've had the panels with the tandoms for a couple of years now. I use the tandoms on my high mesh counts (305) they work great. The advantage I see in them is that we bust screens on the edges, around the frames, from handling them. Now I just wear them out. It was well worth the investment.
