exposure isnt working anymore - i didn't change anything
I successfully burned screens twice, using a 500 watt worklight for 3.5 minutes on a 155 mesh screen. My last 3 attempts have gotten no results, I can just barely see a ghost of the image when I wash it out.
The only thing I can think of that I am doing differently is I have been applying the emulsion to the screen horizontally, instead of vertically, as I'm trying not to waste it. Should that affect it?
The results I'm getting when I try to wash it out are pretty much the same as when I first started and was overexposing(around 15 minutes).
My first successful try took 3.5 minutes, and I've also tried 2 minutes with no results. What's the problem?

how old is the 500 watt halogen bulb.....they loose intensity after awhile...I burn for 18 minutes with a 500 watt halogen...and get a solid 7 on the step wedge test everytime.I use cci dxp dual cure emulsion
Re: exposure isnt working anymore - i didn't change anything
i just replaced the bulb, probably been on only a total of 20 minutes.
the emulsion is a brand called saatchi-chem, and yes its tight against the screen with a piece of glass covering it. im doing nothing differently than I did before and it worked so I am really frustrated.

We need more info. Please tell us how you burn your screens from the time you apply emulsion to washing out. Include weather. Soo many possible problems can happen....
