Default Multiple Film Printers

We're printing our films on one epson and it takes about 7-10 minutes to print one full 13 x 19 film.

I'm thinking of buying 2 more epson printers and hooking them up to the work station we have to output more films faster. But I do need a larger printer that can print 17 x 22 as well.

Are there any 17 x 22 printers that are faster then the epsons or am I stuck with slow printers?

Don't expect films from different printers to register!
If you get a RIP you can get a good result at 720dpi rather than running at 2880dpi without a RIP.
Four times as fast. No extra space.

What printer are you currently using? I can't see why you can't speed up the process.

Henry,

Depending on how much more speed you need, you might want to invest in a 4880 as you can get a high speed RIP and print out 17" x 22" films in around 60 seconds. Are you using a RIP with your 1280?
