Well,First, choke your base. ie,put a two point stroke around the underbase so it doesn't peek out from under the gold.In laymens terms make your base slightly smaller.I dont know if your getting sawtoothing on your gold screen. Is that on your image/screen? Because it will just intensify when you print it.

The screen has very good edges. I think it may be a pressure thing. I tend to get heavy-handed when I print. I am going to try it with a lighter stroke pressure tonight.
Choke the base. The underbase should not be showing at all.I dont know the tensions of your screens or how hard your forcing the white base down but I've printed on lots of texture substrates and have never seen the sawtoothing your getting.Good luck.
It was the pressure I was putting in the squeegee. I used a super light pressure this time and they came out perfect. I normally do choke the white layer, but in this case I was using the same screen for both the white and the gold.
