Unwanted Ink On Shirt - URGENT
If you accidentally get UNWANTED ink some place else where on a shirt (like a spot from your hands or through the screen) while printing on the shirt, how can we remove it? (THIS IS NOT A TEST PRINT)
but for now is there anything else because i don't have time for to wait on a cleaning gun to get here... right now..
The biggest problem is the other things may take time too.
But as far as other solutions: dry cleaning fluid for one. If you search the forums for something like 'spot cleaning fluid' you'll find past threads: people have talked about the alternatives they use in those (I don't use plastisol, so I was only half paying attention, sorry - but the information is definitely already posted on these forums somewhere).
(there are a few alternatives, so you might be in luck)
If the ink is wet you can use a fairly inexpensive product called C60 by sprayway, but it the ink is cure you should used a spot cleaning gun and fluid
If you haven't already put other chemicals on it, you can try TexOpen or whatever screen opener you use. Be sure to check for colorfast issues.
If you've already sent it through the dryer, you may have to replace the shirt, but I would still try the screen opener.
I put a scrap piece of clean t-shirt on the under side of the spot and spray my screen opener really heavy almost against the shirt. The pressure will help remove some of it and the scrap piece underneath helps keep it from spreading so far. Then take another scrap piece and blot, DON'T RUB the spot. Spray again as necessary.
Good luck to you.
