Default Tough time blowing out image exposure

I am having trouble blowing out images and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing. Every once in a while, an image is exteremely hard to blow out but then some are very easy. I have heard that the humidity might effect screens that are emulsioned but not exposed yet. I use a laser printer that is not very black like an inkjet, could that be the problem?

what kind of emulsion are you using??? I use a dual cure diazo emulsion the pink one. BEcause it is water based humidity does play a big role in the process. Make sure you are drying screens for at least an hour in romm temp of 70-85 degrees. I found 85 degrees to be ideal for me. Make sure your transparancies are opaque enough or double up. Make sure your exposed time is accurate for mesh count. Make sure you art work and screens are completely flat on the glass. Make sure you wet both sides and let sit for 30-40 seconds prior to washing out.

Could be, and probably is. You could try using toner enhancer (it's a spray for laser printed positives that darkens them).

I would say to check out a toner aid. that will probably solve your problem. you can pick it up for about 7 dollars
