Default PRINTER: Make It Go Big

Hello!

I am using an HP Office Jet 6310 and have had ZERO problems so far making good screens from the transparencies.

Now I'd like to make an image that is a little larger.

I have 8.5 x 14 Transparency sheets and I'd like to go beyond the 11 inches that the printer is used to - so I am looking for insight into how to set that up in Photoshop Print Preview and get some warnings, thoughts or any ideas about how ways to accomplish this with my printer.

Thanks!!!

sounds like 8 1/2 x 11 is the max size your printer will print.....get a large format printer if you want bigger films.you can pick up an epson 1400 at office depot for under 200 dollars.the max print size is 13 x 19

I downloaded a cool piece of software last week called mr poster it will help you, it was a free trial it will basically let you print any size image you want and will split your image up over as many A4 sheets as you like it's a bit time consuming sticking your positives together but it's cheaper than a new large format printer. Just open your image in Photoshop make it whatever size you want save it and open it in mr poster select your size and print. I can't find the link but just type it in to Google I am sure you will find it.
