Default Exposure Emergency!!!

I ordered an exposure unit - but it was lost in transfer - I have to get some screens exposed right away!!!

I have two 48" workbench lighting houses and 4 GE 40W Ecolux Sunshine 40 bulbs.

Has anyone any ideas on how far away my glass/screen should be away from the light and how long I should let it burn for?

I really really appreciate ALL and ANY input.

Thanks!

Hi Brockton

Most fluorescent bulb systems mount the lamps 2.5" to 3.5"; any closer undercuts image and unevenly exposes. Farther, lenghten exposure time too much.

A time estimate is dependent upon the emulsion type/coating thickness being used and the mesh count (white or yellow?)

Do a 5-step wedge test on one screen at 4,6,8,10,12 minutes. The correct exposure time is likely to fall in there somewhere.

Good luck!
