Default Permaset table adhesive - how to clean it

Hi,

Does anyone out there use permaset table adhesive to glue thei pallets.
we have been using it and it works great, but am having trouble cleaning it off the pallet.

Any advice???

Water if still wet. Otherwise methylated spirits.

I was looking at the data sheet on this product
By reading it you would think it was asbestos. Seems pretty caustic. Which is interesting coming a from a water based ink company.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Hadn't seen the safety sheet before. Have tried soap hot water and a scrubbing brush on it in the past but didn't really budge.

Have spent most of this afternoon trying to scrape it off with a paint scraper. Will try a bit of methylated spirit next time.

Do you use the permaset table adhesive?

Was advised by Permaset to apply it with a spray gun, and Pete form a screen printing company in the uk advised me to water it down 50/50 before using it.

No, I just use normal pallet spray, the same one i use for plastisol.
