Default Cleaning Sticky Stuff

What do you use to clean off spray tack, lint, and other gunk off concrete floors? Any household non toxic things that work well with a mop?

I've wasted lots of time trying to figure out what works best... paint thinner won hands down. I just wish it was "friendlier"

yes, the paint thinners, or ink removers work well. you can use goo gone or goof off as well. however, they all have an 'aroma' of sorts...

You can try some methyl soyate (biodiesel) based product: Paint removers made from soybeans.

I quit using spray adhesives years ago. I now use a water based glue that i mix 50/50 with water. Put the solution in an old dish detergent bottle and pour it on the pallet (pallet is covered with pallet tape), then spread it with a paint roller (keep roller in a plastic bag when not in use to keep the roller from drying out). I don't have a mess in my shop any more from the over spray, the glue is about 25% the cost of the spray including the pallet tape. It was one of the best moves I've made to date concerning cost and cleanup. I can clean the machines and floor with a air hose or vacuum or dust mop or rag.
