Need to Register?

I'm buying some non oem printer ink for my epson, are there any known problems when using non oem ink? (Clogged heads? Non opaque prints? etc?)

) I guess it beats paying $24 retail for an OEM Black cartridge almost every week.....unless it'll screw my printer.

To be more specific, I just use the printer to print films for screen printing and some color print for invoices.

An update: Just tested with films. The black ink leaves a yellow residue on top and kind of bleeds, but when I burned a screen, the yellow didn't seem to matter. But noticed the non OEM is less opaque, and leaves little tiny blank spots in the image.

So it seems 'okay' (I can definetly see a difference in quality from OEM and non OEM, but if it works, it works.)

I will be doing more films this week, so we'll see.

i got the same deal on ebay (probably the same seller) and use it in my 1270

ink works great, but smells like alcohol... i've had no problems with it

I think i might get a continuous system tho

Do you get the yellow residue too? The black inks are in a green box. Seller is in Florida.

no, my inks came in just the foil wrap things, no boxes at all... must be a different seller afterall...

I have no residue, but they do print nice.

When printing from Illustrator, I set my blacks to 100% of all four colors and they're pretty dense on my vellum

I think the seller was "print2008" or something very close to that
