Default printing on velour towels

I have a customer who wants a single color plastisol print on velour towels. I've never actually printed on velour before this job and I'm concerned that the towels will burn or the prints won't look right. Does anybody have any experience with this?

When printing towels, I would stick with a basic design for your artwork. Detail really doesn't show up to well. We also use what we call a "babysoft" ink when printing on towels. When cured, it leaves a softer feel so that it want scratch the skin when used. We cure it the same as our t-shirts and have had no problems with scorching.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Steve! I heard from another printer that printing heat transfers was very difficult on velour because of problems with scorching the material. I wanted to make sure I could cure the ink without burning the place down before I gave my customer a definite answer. Thanks again!
