It takes me an hour per screen to set-up and cycle it. Drying rack to drying rack.
I think I was able to set-up and tear down a 1-color faster on a manual machine workflow.
Is this slow or about average?
so you are saying an hour to coat, dry, burn, dry, reclaim, dry?
If he's doing all that in an hour, it actually is pretty fast! I slow drag sometimes and i would say it takes me about 2 to 4 hours at times to do all that.
Print film 5 minutes, burn screen 5 minutes, block and tape out screen 10 minutes, line up on press, put in squeegies and flood bars and ink up 10 minutes, tear down and clean squeegies and flood bar and remove ink 10 minutes, clean and degrase screen 15 minutes, recoat screen 5 minutes.
Cleaning up after a screen is to come off the auto is TIME CONSUMING!
Anybody ever used a screen systems automatic ink remover for screens and/or squeegies and flood bars?

I saw it in operation in person being used at a mega shop. They had like 5 Falcons, 5 Challengers, 10 Manuals, etc. I almost bought it, but we have a small shop and didn't think we would use it much. It cleans squeegees and screens. (They're selling it cause they went out of business.)
Man that's huge, and it's out of my budget. I bought a screen systems machine used last year- haven't hooked it up yet. It only cleans the ink off the screens. I want to use a one-step cleaner to get the ink and emulsion off in one step. Then all I have to do is pressure wash and dehaze/degrease- done!
They say I cannot use one-step in the machine. I might just use it as a dip tank filled with one-step.
