Default Jerseys bleeding through screen print! Help!

Help! Still new to printing on polyester material and having a problem with some of the uniforms bleeding through the screen print. Currently, we are trying to print on Navy jerseys, and the navy is bleeding through the white ink that is being put down. What could be the thing that I am doing wrong? Obviously with the white ink, I am flash drying in between and then laying another layer on top and then putting it through the conveyor.

Help! We have customers a'waitin'!

Thanks!

Are you using poly inks?

You need a lw bleed ink and make sure they are not getting too hot. Also let them cool before stacking on top of each other.

Not just low bleed, poly inks would be best for 100% poly

Watch your heat! Poly heats up very fast so your flash time and dryer temps will have to be lower. Even with the best inks too much heat will cause dye migration because the excess heat causes the dye to walk through the ink.

You are experiencing dye migration.
"Bleeding", also known as dye migration, occurs when residual dyes in a garment migrate their way into the ink film. The cause could be with the garment (not properly prepared for printing or as a result of the finishing method in manufacturing) or the inks (not properly cured). Bleeding can be controlled on most garments through proper controls on ink selection, application and curing.

try washing the shirts first. Then use a low bleed or polyester specific ink. And as others have said, watch your temperatures in your dryers. White and yellow are the worst for me ink wise. Red, green and blue are the worst for me shirt wise .
