Default How to store and organize transparencies

I need a smart and efficient way to organize all the transparencies. they are all over my garage collecting dust...

I cant find folders or any paper storage that can fit up to 13x19 size

appreciate the help

Try and work out how many you actually reprint - it may not be worth keeping them. Perhaps postal tubes would be the best solution.

Maybe you could go to an artshop and see if they have some sort of folders that artists use. Or get yourself two pieces of cardboard cut them 15x21 and put packing tape over three edges.

We use large brown envelopes to store all the job details and films and just right the job number and details on the front of the envelope.

As we run out we just scrap jobs that haven't been ordered for a while and reuse those ones.

this is what I do....I have folders(home made of coarse) with the letters A - Z one letter for each folder..and I put the customers name in the folder with the letter that there name starts with.......

I had the same problem, I found folders (Greaves recommended those used for x-rays), but it worked out that it was going to cost me the same to store it in a folder (another $1) as it would to just re-print it if needed. I just save the file all laid out in 13x18 and ready to go.
