I have some basic screen emulsion remover, dont have to add any water to it or anything, just spray and go, I was wondering if you could use this for a dip tank set-up? Thanks
The mix that I buy $60 for 5 gallons
the mix is 3 to 1 and makes 20 gallons
If your looking to just take the regular reclamer and use it as a dip tank reclaimer- be carefull not to let the screen in the reclaimer soak too long, The reclaimer has a tendency to harden the film on the screens if left in the diptank for a long period of time.
ya, i tried it once, and i believed i let it soak for too long, perhaps its because i did not have enough of the reclaimer in the mix, i believe the ones the screen shop i bought mine from is the mixture of 5 gallons but like you said i have a gallon of that 20 gallon mix it makes, and they kinda cleaned okay, but as well as the glue unstuck the screen from the frame, sucks, but umm ya iam just tring to get a feel for the portion of the reclaimer to water mixture that would be a good start.
Why dont you just call your local supplier and ask about the proper mix. They sell it so they'll know.
If you cant call anyone let me know what type of reclaimer your using
one just says stencil remover in green and black, and the other is from silkscreeningsupplies.com its emulsion remover 6000 from screen printers, says reg. strength. which i assume both of them are
