Default shirt problem

Hello again
I just got this shirt back and the ink is cracked and you can scrape it off with your finger nail. The shirt is about a year old. I have not had this problem before and I would like to know if it something I doing or My ink. I know this shirt is old and has been washed a ton of times.Sorry the pics are not the best.

Thanks Again Rob

how long do you think the ink should last on the shirt? in a year how many times do you wash a shirt? For being a year old I think it looks pretty good still.

Because the shirt is a year old it's pretty much impossible to tell. Could be that you undercured the ink and it's cracking. Could be you overflashed the underbase, so the ink didn't cure properly. Could be the customer has been using a dryer every time they wash the shirt. Could be the customer ironed their shirt. I don't know of any way to determine if it's their fault or yours.

your ink should outlast the shirt- if not chances are that the ink didnt cure all the way. Ink needs to reach 330deg to properly cure.
Normally in a conveyer oven it will take about twenty seconds to reach that temp.
If your cure your ink with a flash unit make sure the unit is not exposed to outside elements(wind- Cold- fans-) when curing because this will cause the ink to not cure properly

I agree with all of this, the print should outlast the life of the shirt. Your issue with this one is under curing. Dependent on how often the customer has washed the shirt and how they wash it, ink cracking and especially scraping off with your fingernail means it was under cured. If you wash this shirt 10 more times yourself, more ink will come off...
