Default spot gun repair?

I bought a used press that came with a spot gun. When i plug it in and push the trigger it makes a sound like it is running, but when i put water in the jug it will not spray. I broke it down and noticed that the shaft that goes into the tube at the top was not moving when I pulled the trigger. I removed the tube, took out the shaft and tried to blow into it. I could not blow through the tube. My question is that if you remove the shaft , spray nozzle, and the spring is there anything else that sould come out of the tube. what do you guys use to unclog the top tube?

thanks

If you search for "spot gun diagram" you will find several links. Probably the manufacturer offers diagrams so you could order some parts for it.

I can't find a thing on the net. The trade mark is (expert), but I can't find a website on them.

Please tell me what parts come out of the tube. All I get is the shaft from the back side and and a spring with a piece of plastic on one end and a piece if metal on the other end. I can't blow through the tube. I need to know if there is something else that comes out of the tube. I do not want to start pounding on it and damage something. Can you see through the tube when everything is removed from the tube?

thanks

You could try using either a small drill bit (1/16 or smaller) or possibly a welding tip cleaner to open the hole up.
