Default Pad printing - smell and fumes

Hello everyone!

I'm considering buying a pad printer as an adition to my screen printing and embroidery business. I want to print mostly on pens, lighters, mugs and so on.

I belive that pad printers use solvent inks and they are quite smelly.

The problem is that I don't have space for a seperate room for a pad printer and I would have to place it in the room where my screen printign equipment is.

So I'm worried that all my shirts that I'm screen printing will smell like solvent because of that.

Will proper ventilation prevent that or do I really need a seperate room?

Hope you guys could help me with clarifying this..
