Default Attaching PhotoEZ to wooden frames

Hi I am not too happy with PhotoEZ as the result is very inconsistent, mainly due to direct contact.

I recently experimented with a small piece of PhotoEZ attact to a small wooden frame that i've made. After I made the swipe, the fabric will stick to my screen when I lift the screen up....

1) Is it because PhotoEZ is not tight enough on the frame?

2)Is it possible to tighten a premade screen such as PhotoEZ to a wooden frame and make clean swipes ??

I have like 9 PhotoEZ sitting in my fridge and I would like to make use of them... but not with direct contact. Please help!

Wooden frames are a good idea to use with these stencils. Wooden picture frames from the 99 cent store is also a good frame option.

The key is to tape the stencil as tight as you can on to the frame with masking tape. It helps if your off contact is high enough so the stencil won't stick to the garment. Because of lack of tension, I would do 1/2 inch or more of off contact. That's another reason picture frames are ideal.

Yes, because it has less spring to it.

I thought of using stapler gun and attach the screen to the frame... will that be better?
