Hi, this is my first post on here but I was wondering if anyone could help me. As part of my new label I recently attampted to make screens to print my own t shirts and other pieces, I dont really know a lot about screen printing at all but worked at a printers once for a brief period and found variious helpful sites.
Anyway, I made the screens (using speedball diazo photo emulsion) and they seemed alright, and i decided to try using them with some foil glue i purchased online. I wasnt sure if this would work or not but thought it was worth a try. My first couple of attempts came out surprisingly well. Unfortunately however the glue/adhesive (the brand i used was jones tones) dried/set before i had a chance to rinse the screens and now they are virtually unuseable. I wondered if there was any kind of solvent, household or otherwise, that i could use that would disolve the glue without damaging the screen in any way..Any suggestions welcome
thanks
