Default What is the Best Method for Printing this Design?

My customer wants this design printed on royal blue tees. Print run - 150. What is my best method? Process, spot, or heat transfer? Thanks!

Agreed (underbase). Direct-to-garment printing would do the trick. It would take two passes, but you'd achieve a good result.

Depending on the size of the print, and if you have a reliable printer, you could get it done in a day. If it runs well and you have streamlined production, you should be able to kick them out at around 4 minutes per (unless it's large).

So you are saying if you are realy good the 150 shirts * 4 minutes each would take 600 minutes which equals 10 hours. WOW!!!! to screen print and set up screens on press, load ink, test print, align and print 150 shirts screen printing 30 minutes. I guess you really need to charge for DTG per piece to make money on an order that size. I can see where DTG is a great option for the real small orders but on screen printing 150 is still a small order.

From my experience, DTG yields the best cost effective results for small runs and designs which have dynamic images (ie. sport teams numbers and names) The DTG do take abit longer, yes.

If the image is static and large numbers then good old fashion squeegee and screens.

I have to disagree with you on numbers. We do over 100 softball/baseball teams and we have a number screen print maching from Brown that is really fast. What this all comes down to is having the right equipment for the job. Yes you can probably drive a nail with a screwdriver by hitting it but a hammer works quicker and more efficiently.
