Default Kiwo Poly-Plus Z

Hey everybody,

This site has been so helpful in setting up a studio and learning some of the basics. I have learned a lot about the general process of printing; however, i do not know where to start with my emulsion.

My grandma has been very supportive of my new habit, soon to be addiction I'm sure. So she decided to buy me 5 new screens and some emulsion. She got Kiwo Poly-Plus Z from some guys at Midwest Screen Supply.

Since I am a complete n00b I have no idea what to do with the small bottle and get the emulsion so that I can begin coating my screens. So how do i get started?

I am using a 200 watt plant bulb for exposure if that matters at all for this question.

Thank you very much,
Stimpy

If you haven't mixed the sensitizer into the emulsion yet - don't. Return it and get a pre-sensitized emulsion that will have an 18 month shelf life, not the 4-6 weeks life of a diazo sensitized emulsion.
