Default Exposing using a dip tank

As there is a mega shortage of industrial units around my area I have had to settle for a place without a water supply. Therefore it is impossible for us to blast a screen with a pressure washer.

If I Use a dip tank for exposing the screen after burning the image is there any chemical i will need to put in the water for all the detail to come out nicely?

You don't want to use a dip tank for exposing. The dip tank is for stripping all the emulsion off of the screen. You can use a simple garden hose to washout an exposed screen...

Dipping the exposed screen into a dip tank of water will not clear out your screen. You need 1. PRESSURE, 2. WATER.

Without water supply, it'd be a tough thing to do...Not to be rude, but what were ya thinkin, it seems you knew before hand that you needed water. The only thing I can think is expose and washout screens at your house/apt, then bring it to your warehouse.

(Something to think about, you're also going to need water for washing other things such as your hands, tools, when reclaiming screens, etc.)

Yeah, no suggestions. Sorry, but you need water. You need water to fill a dip tank too...

I had to go with this unit as after weeks of searching there was still no luck of finiding a unit with water supply.

I have however just had a break through.
I attached a hosepipe with a bear end to my preasure washer and dipped the bare end in a bucket of water. now the pressure washer pulls the water out of the bucket and shoots it out with enough pressure to expose my screens.

There is a water supply in the (shared) bathroom so I can fill the bucket up when needed. However, due to health and safety regulations, I cant have a hosepipe trailing through to my unit.

DIY at its best if I do say so myself.

You can burn all your screens and load them up and go to a local car wash and spray them out.

What we have here is a small definition problem.

Screen makers expose with UV energy, and crosslink the sensitizer.

After exposure, you develop your stencil with water. The water dissolves stencil that was not cross-linked with UV energy.

In my experience, after you develop your stencil in a drip tank, you will be able to rub the image area of your stencil with a sponge to clean it out.

Option 1-
You can always buy a few industrial spray bottles at a Home Depot or Lowes and fill em up with water. After exposing wet both sides and let sit for a few minutes. Then spray them out....it takes longer and it does get tiresome, but it does work.

Option 2-
Purchase a recirculating washout sink. Initially you do need to fill it up with water, but there is no plumbing required. Their made for cleaning ink off of screens but I use mine for washing out the stencil.
