Re: Best Screen???? To get your theoretical detail, divide your meshcount by 4 to retrieve a number that represents an approximate LPI (lines per inch). For instance, a 160 mesh screen would result in a 40LPI graphic. This is especially handy when calculating halftones.
The detriment to using a 200 mesh screen is getting ink through the mesh (especially white ink which is viscous.) In many cases, on a manual press and a high mesh count, you'll get a good workout trying to print. |
