Default Ink washing out of clothes

i have been making plain t-shirts with a while logo in the middle. usually the white doesn't wash out however the last two shirts i made, some of the ink came of in the wash. not all of it just in areas. the ink also is cracked. what can cause this. heres a list of things i think that caused it
-maybe there was a little screen wash on the screen that mixed with tthe ink.
-heated it too much
-ink in container was somewhat dry cause i was at the bottom (ink wasn't as easy to scoop)
help please?
thanks jim b

Hi Jim,
Are you using standard plastisol ink. If so the most likely cause is under curing. How do you cure the inks, UV dryer, flash cure unit, gas dryer or heat press? If you stretch the garment if the ink doesn't crack...then it is most likely cured. That's not a fail safe test but a quick test. Make sure your inks aren't old and the plasticizer and base aren't separated...(looks like oil on the top.) If you are reducing (or thinning) your ink with a reducer, make sure that it is a curable reducer otherwise you will cause an imbalance between the components and there will not be enough plasticizer to cover the base or vice versa. Hope that helps. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
Wishing you success!

Hello I had this problem before and it was due to undercuring. I use a flash dryer and I have learned to do a complete cure be positioning the shirt in diffrent locations on the pallet or by moving the flash dryer over the ink.
