Default Autosol Classic

I'm debating switching to Autosol classic emulsion for my screens but I dont have a formal exposure unit, I usually just hang a light above my screen. Reading from the techdata on this emulsion I can use UV fluorescent tubes. It says 4 inches away for 5-7 minutes. I can just hang these lights above the screen and it should work fine, correct? No need to build a light table?
