Here are the results of my first time printing on paper. I am sending these out to a few customers, friends, and family. I used Matsui waterbased discharge base with pigments added. I didn't add the activating powder though. I would have used the inert base, but I don't have any on hand. I used 2 pieces of matte board as a registration guide, and a small piece of tape on the end. Wet on wet worked best. I tried printing one color at a time, but registration wasn't as good. I am printing the inside greeting and envelopes with my inkjet printer. I think they turned out pretty good for a first time effort though. Hopefully they will spread some Christmas cheer!
That's great. I always take notice when a vendor has gone to the effort to design and create their own holiday greetings. My opinion of them always goes up.
very nice work......I am thinking about screen printing some christmas cards this year ....I have a few questions for you , if you dont mind.
did you use any type of vacum to hold the paper down?
how about drying ? how long does it take to dry? did you have to use a dryer or did you air dry the paper?

We did not use a vacuum press. We made a few L shaped jigs out of matte board for the corners. We ran them through the dryer at a low temp. Here are some registration tabs that I found. It is the same idea as the L shape jig that I was referring to.
