Default Mesh Count, Material and Ink

Just thought it maybe a good idea to start a thread on mesh counts, garment material and type of ink. Feel free to chip in if you have any experience or thoughts with speciality inks or special materials:

I'll start the ball rolling. The ideal mesh count to use with black ink on a 100% cotton t-shirt would be 43T.

The thread count depends on the halftone that you are using, basically a dot needs to touch two threads to hold on, any less and it falls off. The shadows are the problem, because that's where the emulsion is smallest, so coarser meshes putting down larger ink deposits may not hold dots as well as finer meshes and you'll find more filling-in.

Let's see, black ink! We generally use wilflex genesis black and thin it with 10% nova base and print with a 305 mesh. One stroke with medium pressure depending on the graphic. It cover great and has a really soft feel on the shirt.
