hi, thanks for reading this thread. i just wish to know how to do a multiple color silk screen on t-shirt. if i wan a tee which has 3 colours, does it mean i have to use 3 different screens? if yes, do i have to wait for the water base ink to dry up first before i go on to the second color?

another question. is plastisol inks better den water based ink? does it cost more? whats the pros n cons of it?

Yes, you use one screen per color. Just align or "register" the screens to each other before you start printing.
Pros use a flash cure unit to dry the inks before doing an additional color. You could use a heat gun when starting out.
It's arguable whether plastisol or waterbased is better. Waterbased has made a lot of improvements in the last few years. I think it's better for a beginner, and it's what I use still on a professional scale. Search this forum for lots of discussions on plastisol vs water based and the positives and negatives of each.
