Question Please help!!! Eco friendly emulsion, cleaners etc UK

Hi
Have been trying to find out whether it is possible to buy eco friendly/non toxic emulsion in the UK - I previously thought that this didn't exist but have since read other threads which seem to point out that it does exist in the USA.

Am also trying to source soy based cleaners etc in the UK

Currently setting up at home and I don't want to wash any chemicals down the drain - is there anyone else in this situation who could offer advice on how they deal with this problem?

Any advice would be much appreciated as the hours spent trawling the internet with no results is driving me INSANE!!!

Check out silkscreeningsupplies.com. I started using all enviroline cleaners because i couldn't handle the stink of the cleaning chemicals and as a bonus, i don't feel like i am responsible for the water pollution in the greater northwest area of the U.S.

I'm not sure as far as emulsion goes, but i think that simply filtering the drain you wash out in with some fine mesh is enough. I have only heard that emulsion is more harmful in large chunks but it's more the ink that is harmful than anything. That where water-based comes in!

Environmentally Friendly Screen Printing Supplies

hope this helps!
