Default Is this possible?

Is there anyway I can make my own silk screening screens out of frame and silk besides buying them from these expensive art stores? Would the silk have to be stretched with a machine?

in order to get a quality print i would recommend getting a screen from a screen printing supplyer. all of our screens are stretched so the mesh does not sag.

I agree with Jamie, you can get a quality alum. frame screen for less than one of those speedball junkies.

If you look on you tube you will find a bunch of guys building their on screen. And the swear those are as good as the ones you buy.
Well if you are doing this seriously buy them. They are cheap. The tension in the screen is calibrated with an instrument which name I forgot .
