Default well established screen printers HELP!!!

Hey guys! I have a couple questions I was hopeing a few of you with well established shops might be able to help me with. I have been screen printing for about 1 1/2 years. I was able to make enough to move into a small shop. Now I want to start doing 4 color pro. and simulated pro. I also just bought a heat press. now here is my main question. Is there a printer and ink combo that I can use for 4 color process films and heat transfers. or do you all run seperate printers. also any suggestions on a printer in the low to mid price range. Thank you all so much in advance!!!!!

You're printer may need a rip software to output films. What are you using now?

There is free rip software called ghostscript and ghostview which work hand in hand

I am using a high end photocopier at work for my spot color. I am looking at buying a rip software also.

sorry I get a little excited. So tell me this if I go with the 1400 and a rip that will be perfect for my film output , but can I change the other inks to be used for heat transfers. or is that a stupid idea

I'd go with remanufact. ink, epson 1400 or 1900 and ghostscript for a rip- you'll be able to print both with no switching.

Not oem ink- generic branded ink for MUCH cheaper, it's all I use in my Epsons and my HP designjet.
