Default Affliction style printing?

I just recently really looked at the AFFLICTION line and was impressed with the look of their graphics. Being a newbie, I have no idea of the printing process they use. It does not look silkscreened and actually almost has an airbrushed look to it. Could one of you pros clue me in to the process?

Affliction is more about the treatment. A lot of discharge and very watered down inks applied with some rather unconventional methods. Once that treatment is done, its commonly just a one or two color print on top of that. The have stated doing some tricks with metallics.

I know this is an old thread. But for anyone outhere still looking for this kind of information, Vastex recently came out with an oversize press to do all over printing. If I remember correctly it's like $1,000, which is not bad. Specially considering the huge demand for all over printing now days.

Here's the link to the press: Screen Printing Equipment by VASTEX
