Color change during a job
Is it typical to charge a customer for a new screen ($) + film ($) + fee ($) when doing a color change? I.E. When a customer has a job that has two colors (lets say black and red) and they want to change one color (black) to another (purple).

Re: Color change during a job Yes, it is usually just an ink change fee to cover the time/materials it takes to clean up the ink, and add the other color. The screen doesn't leave the press, so there shouldn't be another setup or film fee.

Re: Color change during a job We just finished a job with 12, count em- TWELVE color changes on 200 shirts front and back. Talk about a major PITA!!!!! All day job. Customer was charged accordingly, but it could have been more- rush job.
